Marble Master Vanity Polished
Dull, Etched Marble
This marble vanity had lost its luster. The finish was dull because of improper cleaners and fine scratches. The Sarasota Beach homeowners contacted us to find out whether the damage could be repaired, because they wanted to avoid replacing the top. We assured them that our marble restoration services could achieve dramatic results and give their vanity a like-new look.
Honing, Polishing, and Sealing
First we masked and protected the surfaces surrounding our work area with painters tape and sheets of plastic. Then, we honed the marble, virtually erasing all of the scratches and chemical damage. The honing process removed a very fine layer of stone from the surface and exposed the brand new stone underneath. We switched to finer grit diamond pads to achieve a glass-like finish and applied impregnating sealer to inhibit staining.
The homeowners were absolutely thrilled with the luxurious new look of their vanity, as if it had come straight from a showroom floor.
